The Why and How of Referencing In-Person
We all know that referencing is an important part of academic writing and a vital component of academic integrity, but why is it so important, and how do we do it? This workshop will address the importance of referencing by discussing why academics use referencing systems, and by showing how it can help you write better essays. It will also show you how you can learn the rules of different referencing systems through in-class exercises. It will be of particular interest to first and second year undergraduate students, or those who have not used academic referencing systems before.
