Overview
This is a practical, hands-on workshop exploring the use of Google Blogger for informal research communication with colleagues and peers. You will learn how best to blog about your own research interests and exchange ideas with your fellow researchers.
In the workshop you will:
- Discover how some academics and research students use blogs
- Set up your own blog
- Practice blogging - write a blog post, link to other blogs of interest and add comments
Following the workshop, we encourage interested participants to continue blogging. At the workshop, you will be invited to sign-up for a follow-up one-hour session a week later, where we can discuss progress with your blog and discuss any issues arising.
